ACCESSIBILITY

Using this site, whatever you use to browse

The statement our terms promise at section 20.8: where we stand against WCAG 2.2 AA, what we know is not right yet, and how to ask us for an adjustment.

Last updated 16 August 2026

1. Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to get a quote, book a move, and deal with us afterwards, whatever their disability and whatever they use to browse.

Where the website falls short, we do not want that to cost you the service. You can complete the whole booking with a member of our team by phone or email, at no extra charge — that is a contractual commitment, not a courtesy (T&Cs section 20.8).

2. What this covers

  • muveone.co.uk — our website, including the quote flow.
  • The Customer Portal (portal.muveone.co.uk).

3. Conformance status

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the standard is met, and some of it we have not finished testing. We would rather tell you exactly where we are than claim a status we have not earned.

What has been tested, and when:

AreaStatusTested
Page structure: headings, landmarks, page language, image alternatives, link namesTested and passing. Every page was audited; the one defect found (a heading-level jump on the Terms page) was fixed16 August 2026
Keyboard access: every control reachable and operable without a mouseTested and passing. Every interactive element on every page was driven by keyboard16 August 2026
Focus visibility: knowing where you are on the pageTested and fixed. The site had no visible focus indicator; it now has one designed to stay legible on every background we use16 August 2026
Focus not obscured: the focused control not hidden behind somethingTested and fixed. Two problems found and corrected: page sections landing underneath the sticky header, and the WhatsApp button covering footer links16 August 2026

4. Known problems

We know about these. We are not waiting for someone to report them.

  1. Colour contrast has not been formally tested against WCAG 2.2 AA (1.4.3, 1.4.11). Some colour combinations on the site are under review, and we did not want to publish a pass we had not measured. If any text on our site is hard for you to read, tell us at [email protected] and we will treat it as a defect, not a preference.
  2. The Customer Portal has not been audited to the same standard as the website. It is on the list. Until then, anything you can do in the portal you can do by emailing us.
  3. Our video has captions but no audio description or full transcript on the page. The captions were produced by transcription software and checked. If you need a transcript, ask and we will send one.

5. Asking for an adjustment, and getting help

Email [email protected], or call +44 333 344 2573.

We will, on request and at no charge:

  • complete the quote and booking with you by phone or email, so you never have to use a form that does not work for you;
  • provide our Terms & Conditions and your quote in a more accessible format — large print, screen-reader-tagged PDF, or plain text;
  • make reasonable adjustments to how we deal with you, within the meaning of the Equality Act 2010.

Tell us what would help. You do not have to explain your disability to us to ask for it.

6. Reporting a problem

If you find something on this site you cannot use, email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what happened; a screenshot helps but is not needed.

We will acknowledge within 2 working days and tell you what we are going to do about it.

If you are not happy with our response, you can raise it through our complaints process, or, where it concerns disability discrimination, take it to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (equalityadvisoryservice.com, 0808 800 0082).

7. How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on 16 August 2026, covering every page of the website. Testing was automated across the full page set (structure, keyboard operation, focus behaviour) and reviewed by hand.

It has not been reviewed by an independent accessibility auditor, and we say so rather than let "we aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA" imply otherwise.

Next review: 16 February 2027, or sooner if the site changes materially.
