The price you book is the price you pay.
Your move price locks when you book, across all five sizes. Everything else is pre-categorised in writing: what's in the price, what's arranged separately, and the few charges we disclose up front.
Locked at booking, across all five sizes
When you book, your quote is locked: not just for the size you chose, but across all five sizes (5, 10, 15, 20 and 30m³). If packing runs over and you need the next size up, you pay the price that was locked when you booked. Never a new price on the day.
Each size carries a weight limit that depends on your specific route. We confirm your route's limits in your quote, so you're checking a real number, not a brochure figure.
Why the every-size lock matters most when you pack yourself: what happens when a load runs past its route's weight limit →Example prices. Your locked prices are generated in your quote. Weight caps vary by route.
Help at the van is already in your price
Your driver helps load and unload at the vehicle; there's no hourly labour charge waiting for you on move day. The driver can't leave the vehicle, so their help is at the van: you bring things to it, they load; they unload, you carry in.
Stairs, long corridors, no lift? That's our separate Additional Crew service, agreed and priced before move day, never invented at the kerb.
Where the line is
The driver loads what you bring to the vehicle, and unloads it at the other end. No hourly meter.
Multi-floor carries, long corridors, no lift: the Additional Crew service, agreed and priced before move day.
Three columns. Nothing outside them.
Locked in your price, arranged separately when you ask, or disclosed up front. Pre-categorising everything is the defence against extras in disguise.
Move price · customs clearance work · driver's help at the van
Packing · additional crew · storage, in writing before move day
Parking, permits, or site access required by your location. Arranged and paid by you.
Waiting time is a backstop, not a meter: if the crew arrives at the notified time and the load isn't ready, the first 30 minutes are free, then our T&Cs carry an hourly rate. And rarely, a customs authority itself demands a payment, such as a refundable guarantee on temporary admission. We list these so the first time you hear of them is now, not on an invoice.
If it isn't in one of these columns, it isn't part of your move price. And your move price cannot change once you book.
The move price never changes between those two payments. Add-ons you request are invoiced separately, always agreed before they happen.
Answered in writing
Yes. When you book, your quote is locked, not just for the size you chose but across all five sizes. If your load turns out bigger on the day, you pay the price that was locked when you booked. Never a new price on the day.
Everything sits in one of three categories, in writing before you book: what's in the price, what's arranged separately, and the few charges we disclose up front. Your move price cannot change after booking; anything separate is agreed in writing before it happens.
Yes: a 25% deposit locks your price at booking, and the remaining balance is due on loading day. Both figures are in your booking confirmation.
