Here are the Essential Documents You Will Need for Your Move to Lithuania (After Brexit)
To successfully move to Lithuania, there are certain documents that you will need. We have compiled a set of these documents to assist you in the process of relocating your household to Lithuania. Since Brexit, any removals from the UK fall under the Transit of Residence status. This status provides an exemption from import VAT. The required paperwork plays a crucial role in helping the customs authorities make an informed decision regarding your eligibility for this status. In the worst-case scenario, if the customs officer considers your move as a regular import, you may be liable to pay the import VAT, which amounts to 21% of the total value of your goods. Therefore, it is extremely important to diligently complete all the provided forms to avoid any unnecessary charges.
In Order to Initiate Your Removal Service Safely, It is Necessary for You to Complete the Following Paperwork

- If you reside with your family in the EU, please request them to fill out and sign this template. Furthermore, please provide a copy of their personal identification document and a utility bill that shows their address.
